We had a wonderful experience! The steaks were cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sushi was also fresh, beautifully presented, and had a great variety of options. It’s not always easy to find a restaurant that does both steak and sushi well, but this place definitely delivers! The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything from the food to the presentation made for a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place that offers something for everyone!

We had dinner at Double Cut Steakhouse inside Kalahari Resort, and the experience was a mix of exceptional service and good, but not unforgettable, food. The highlight of the evening was our server, Carla. She was warm, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. She confidently explained the different steak cuts and made recommendations that made the dining experience feel personal. Outstanding service like hers is hard to find, and she’s absolutely worth requesting if you visit. The standout item of the night wasn’t the steak—it was the Premier Bacon. Hands down, it was the favorite item at our table. Even after trying multiple dishes, everyone in our family agreed that the bacon was the one thing we’d come back for. The biggest surprise, though, was the Smoked Old Fashioned. It’s presented in its own smoke-filled case, making for an impressive presentation before you even take the first sip. I have to say it’s one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve ever had. The only one I’d rank higher is the Bananas Foster Old Fashioned at Canvas in downtown Dallas. The filet minon was one of the best I've ever had. I did the ribeye with bourbon mushrooms add on. The triple chocolate cake was also exceptional. Great cocktails and wine selection as well. And for appetizers, you must try the Hanging Bacon, so good. Our server was superb, always refilling waters and very attentive. There was live music with a woman singing and playing on a piano. The atmosphere is warm and nice ambience. This place is pricey but worth it for the occasional splurge.

So I needed a good steak and a co worker recommended this place. I decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did. They have an excellent drink selection. I had a nice scotch. I had the French onion soup which was really good. You can tell when someone puts some effort into the little things. The rosemary garlic Asiago bread was perfect. I ordered my steak. Ribeye cooked a little less than Medium rare. The steak is locally grown grass fed. That usually concerns me. Grass fed has a lot less fat and can be grainy. Without the fat it’s harder to cook. Mine turned out perfect. One of the best grass fed steaks I’ve had. For desert I had the crème brûlée. It was amazing. Definitely a top notch steak out there. Well worth the money. I’ve paid more for steaks no where near this good. I’ll be back!

First experience at this restaurant. Wonderful experience! With no reservations, we sat at the bar and had cocktails while waiting for our table. Our bartender was friendly and crafted some tasty cocktails. Kemal, our waiter, was fantastic. Attentive, funny and provided great service for our party of 3. He speaks Turkish, so i was able practice a few phrases I learned in the military many years ago. We had calamari, french onion soup, shishito peppers, cream spinich, mashed potatoes and ribeye steaks. The one and only negative was that the food had a little too much salt. Mainly the spinach and steak. That being said, this was absolutely one of the best steaks I've had in the last 10 years...phenomenal! Hostesses and staff were very engaging and the restaurant itself was beautifuly designed and decorated. Prices were on par with what we would expect from a quality steakhouse of this caliber. Live music was relaxing and really took the overall experience to the next level. Im a bourbon drinker, so having multiple options to choose from was great. We will absolutely return.
